Greenfield Village

I decided to take a vacation day so we could have a family fun day. Summer is coming to end (less than 2 weeks until school starts) and I wanted to get some more time in the girls.
John and I had adult passes to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI. so we headed north. It was a perfect day. The weather was amazing. We saw so many houses, shops, schools, churches, and even sent Nana a post card from the post office. We saw the house where the Wright Brothers grew up, Thomas Edison's workplace, Henry Ford's birth place and so many others. The pictures doesn't do this place justice. We even rode in a Model T. The old windmill is amazing. It's the oldest one in the United States. It was a gift to Henry Ford because his friends didn't know what to get him. Ha!
