#houghtalinggirls

 Matching nails with my bestie

Get your mammogram!

So glad to see this face after camp

Swimming FUN!

Let's squeeze in as much swimming as we can with our sister friends.
Any day free, the Mama's are texting.

Year of the End Arsenal Party

And just like that our time with Arsenal has come to an end.

I'm sad this time is over but...high school soccer!

Anyhow, we hosted everyone at our house and we had a great time!

The girls (and parents) had a blast!

The party fell on my actual birthday and it's our neighbor's birthday too!
So she brought over Fireball shots. Whew!

The last ones standing.

Basketball Camp for Ava!

Ava Kate spent three days in Cleveland with her basketball team.
She had the time of her life!
They played and practiced.

But she also got to share a hotel room with her best friend, Stella and enjoy a nice dinner out with the team.

Such a great experience!

Visit with The Fu's

We FINALLY were able to meet The Fu Families!

They are Roz's travel group. They get together every year in their different cities and this year it was Toledo!!!

We were so excited to spend the day with the awesome girls and their families!!

I was gifted this beautiful bouquet as a thank you for hosting.
So pretty and such a fun day!

Addy's Gotcha Day/My Birthday

June continued on being super busy!

Next up...Addy's Gotcha Day!! We celebrated NINE years with our sweet girl. Since we live in the TikTok era, she chose spaghetti on the table for her dinner. John and I put quite a bit of strategic thought into this. There were about 10 layers of towels under. We were skeptical but it ended up being so fun!!

We finished the night with a Gotcha Day/Birthday Cake as I also celebrated Year 47 around the sun.

Seattle

The cruise was amazing, but our vacation wasn't over JUST YET.
We were going to spend a few days in Seattle to explore.
First up...The original Starbucks.
This was a bucket list item for me!

Next we explored Pike Place Market. It lives up to the expectations!
It was so fun to wander and watch everything!

That night we had tickets to see the Seattle Storm. It's their WNBA team. We splurged and bought floor seats. It was amazing! This was probably one of our top 3 of the entire trip! So Fun!

After a much needed night sleep and sleep in, we were off again!
To the Gum Wall! Prepping our gum.

Then we headed down to the docks for a seafood lunch!

This was a big favorite of Ava's. Elote!

Next up...The Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens.
This was about the time that we realized the girls were done.
They were worn out and missing home so much. The last day was fine but maybe a little crabby.

You can tell by the next few photos who was the crabbiest.
As you can see she is missing from photos. Or mad. Hahahahaha!!

We enjoyed Seattle with the exception of the "wheat" smell.
It was a once in a life time trip and I'm so grateful we were able to take the trip!
Red eye flight to good ole' Ohio.
Peace out, West Coast!

Happy Birthday, Grandma Ballmer!
