Nate surprised John (as a retirement gift) and me (as a birthday gift) with tickets to the Rams vs Ravens game at Baltimore! Nate and John didn't really have a stake in the game but I got to see the Stafford's!
We left on Saturday after Ava's soccer game and drove to Baltimore. We checked into the hotel and cleaned up.
Then it was off to Horseshoe Casino where we had dinner reservations at Gordon Ramsey's STEAK.

The Rams came away with the win!
I ordered a $100 steak. ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
But it was the most amazing thing I had ever eaten.
The infamous Sticky Toffee pudding. The 2nd most amazing thing I have ever eaten.
After dinner we hung around the casino while Nate gambled and John and I sat at the bar.
Then it was back to the hotel to get ready for the next day!!!

This all started because I started listening to his wife's podcast a few years ago.
They are the most real life, no glamour family I have met. It's like listening to a friend talk.
They have 4 daughters and I knew Kelly and the girls would be there.
They have a little ritual where the girls go down pre-game and he walks over to hug them.
I had the perfect line of sight!
The Rams came away with the win!
The only issue was John's tires were slashed while in the parking lot where we valeted.
The hotel changed the tire for us and luckily it was a full size who we were able to drive home.
We had to take it in the next day and they reimbursed us for the new tire.
Best case for the worst situation!
