End of Year Teacher Parade!

Due to the pandemic and the canceling of in-school learning, our amazing school district coordinated an end of the year parade for the families. They planned a 34 mile route that encompassed all of the small towns in the Genoa district. We were fortunate enough to be on the route!
The Smithers and Ella came over to enjoy with us!
We made a special sign because we truly miss our teachers so very much.

It was super chilly but we didn't care because we needed to see the faces, instead of over a computer screen. All of the guidelines were followed, which was the right thing to do. But this Mama is a big hugger and I needed to give my people love. Hopefully soon!
The parade included all of the teachers from the elementary, middle school and high school.
It was so sweet and I basically weeped through the whole thing.
I absolutely love our community!
Music, Signs, Honking, Yelling and lots of Silly String!!
