Our neighbor is a photographer and needed to do practice for an upcoming shoot. 
She asked if she could use Ava as her test subject. 

To say we are pleased with the outcome is a understatement. 

My girl is so badass. 

 

795 Cup

We have officially started High School Soccer. 

I cannot believe we are here. When she was 5, she talked about playing in high school. I'm so excited for her!

First up was the 795 Cup. This is actually a tournament hosted by Genoa Soccer so we got to hang close to home. It was a long weekend for me because when she wasn't playing, I was working. 

But these girls did amazing!! 

7 games in the July heat and they took 2nd place!!! 

Her Arsenal coach came to watch! So we grabbed all of the old Arsenal players (because they all play with different teams now) and took a group shot. So fun! 

The weekend didn't fair well for me. 

A soccer ball missed the goal and landed and shattered my windshield. 

I'm still fighting through this. More on that later. 

The heat and exhaustion caught up. 

I grabbed a lemonade from the food truck, drank half then added vodka. 

And spent the rest of the night in the pool. Haha!!

Happy Birthday Nate and Ava!

 Because life is so busy and Ava decided to not have a part this year, we combined Nate and Ava's birthday this year!! 

I bought the best dinosaur decorations and John made wings, potato salad, pasta salad and a yummy cake to bring in 15 and 41!

Happy Retirement, Tina

My dad's wife, Tina, retired after 45 years! 

We celebrated with a super yummy dinner at J. Alexanders. 

 

Kelley's Island

Ava is living her best life! 

One of her friends, Sophie, invited her to Kelley's Island for the weekend. 

Sophie's grandparents have a house over there. 

They took their bikes and had the best time!

They biked the island, explored, putt putt, lots of food and fun!

 

Date Night with Addy and Maisie

Addy has been begging me to go Roller Skating. So I did a little research and found that a local skate park was hosting a Glow in The Dark skate party. 

So we grabbed Maisie and headed to dinner. 

 Then on to skating! These girls skated for 2 1/2 hours!!!

They were exhausted and so sweaty but had to much fun!
