Carnival Conquest - Towel Animals

And to round out our cruise posts, one of our all time favorites:
The TOWEL ANIMALS!
We love coming back to our room every night to see what surprise is left!
Addy slept with whatever was left that night. Meaning when she woke up, she was snuggled with just a towel. "What happen my animal?"

Carnival Conquest - The Chef's Table

John and I decided to splurge on this trip and booked a dinner with the Chef's Table.
We got to go behind the scenes in the kitchen and see where all the food is made.
It's crazy and SUPER CLEAN. Which was refreshing.

We did little taste test back in the kitchen before we sat down for the formal dinner.

There were 14 of us total. I will say the food was a little too fancy for me but I tried everything. I took a bite of everything that was put in front of me and then mostly handed it off to John. We had an agreement. He can have all of the food and I got all of his wine.

John would love to do it again but I doubt that I will. You know who would love it?
Ava.

Carnival Conquest - Ship Pictures

Our last day on the ship was spent at sea. We had a wonderful relaxing day spent OUT OF THE SUN! Here are some other pictures from our trip!

Carnival Conquest - Day 4, Amber Cove, Dominican Republic

We woke up early on Thursday to an announcement that we weren't allowed off the ship, just yet.
There was a fire at a local garbage dump and they needed to assess the situation to ensure if was safe for everyone. About 45 minutes later, we got the all clear and we headed to the pool.
There was a pool with a kiddie area and water slides right at the port.
We did a little exploring before we headed over there!

We had a great day at the pool and tried to stay as safe as we could from the sun.

John headed to a bar at the top of the hill and snapped a couple of nice shots.

We had another wonderful day!

Carnival Conquest - Day 3, Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos

Grand Turk never disappoints!
While it's a fun day, its an expensive day!
First stop was at a gift shop where we bought the girls and John swim shirts and hats.
The sun was taking a toll on our Ohio Winter bodies.
We spent most of the time at Margaritaville.
We swam, had yummy drinks, and the best nachos!

The kids were all chosen to participate in a scavenger hunt with Ella as the winner!

There is another place at Grand Turk that people rave about called Jack's Shack. We never make it that way and decided this time we were going to head over there. It was ok, not as fun as Margaritaville but they had a great beach spot that allowed the kids to have fun!

We walked back towards the ship and the girls got their hair braided. Addy decided to just get a couple of small braids because "it huts" Ha!

Another amazing day in the sun!
