Skagway, Alaska

Our 2nd stop of the cruise was Skagway, Alaska.

It's funny because this was the coldest day we had but it was all of ours favorite day! I love Skagway. The mountains and scenery were unreal.

There were two other ships in port with us that day.

But we had big plans!

We headed to our meeting spot and found the bus that matched Addy's hat.

After a short bus ride, we arrived at our destination. The girls were so excited so they kept trying to peek.

We jumped on a mog -- Ours was called Kermit the Mog and headed up a very steep mountain incline.

To a MUSHERS CAMP!! WITH SLED DOGS!

For the next couple of hours, we learned about the dogs, got to play with them and the puppies (Ava didn't bring one home in her pocket).

After we played with dogs, we got to hop a sled and have them take us around their area. It was so cool and so fast!

After we said goodbye to the dogs, we headed back to normal ground but not before they stopped and let us enjoy the scenery. It was gorgeous!

After the excursion, they took us back to town where we were able to enjoy a little shopping and dinner.

Some of us liked to show our skills.

We finished dinner with amazing food and local beer. It's always a family fave.

I was a little traumatized by John's choice of dinner. But we swears it was amazing.
