The time had come. We knew it was coming but it didn't mean we were any more prepared.
We had to say goodbye.
They didn't want to leave.
I didn't want them to leave.
Ava and Addy most certainly didn't want them to leave.
There were lots of hugs, promises of talking soon, and a gajillion tears. On both sides.
Ava was devastated. She had a really hard time all day. She asked for Chinese noodles with chopsticks for lunch. I think it made her remember them.
The girls heard to California for a few days before heading back to China. I have heard from both of them. They miss America but are super happy to have TRUE Chinese food.
