Good Morning from Nanning!!! And Addy Grace Day!

I apologize for the lack of posting yesterday, but by the time we got to the hotel, had dinner, we were lucky enough we made it back to our room. We just can't seem to sleep through the night. We are sleeping in 5 hour patterns. Which is amazing for nap time, but sucks for night time. We all tried to stay awake yesterday and not sleep at all during the day. That worked well for the adults, but not for Ava. Since this is what she did the minute we got on the plane and slept the entire time until we landed.

Therefore, she has been up since 3:30. I set her up at the desk with a coloring book and that lasted for a bit.

We wrapped the last of our time in Shanghai by going to breakfast and swimming. The pool wasn't too bad. John and Ava went and Nana and I sat on the sidelines reading our kindles.

We went back to the room and cleaned up and headed to the airport. And I had to get this picture since we have a similar one from 4 years ago. God, I love them.
The flight was uneventful and Nana was super stoked to find this in her snack box! It tasted amazing!
We had a new experience when we landed. Ava didn't know what to think! After we got down the stairs we took a shuttle to the airport terminal.

Our guide's name is Hannah and she met us at the airport. She is so nice and gave us new details about Addy. She said she talked to the foster family the other day and she could hear her gibbering and gibbering. She said "Wow, she's a talker!" And she said her favorite food is a chicken leg. That fits right in with Ava. Unfortunately we will not meet her until this afternoon. She is still living with her foster family in Guigang and will be arriving in Nanning around noon by bullet train. So, Hannah is taking us to Walmart this morning to get water and other things. She said if we wanted to tour Guigang we could do that Wednesday or Thursday. We really want to since that is Addy's birth city!

Signing off for now. Next time around you will see the fourth Houghtaling family member. My nerves are in full force!
Love you all!
