Weekend Recap!! Football, Dumplings, Wicked, and lots and lots of animals!!

Did we ever have a weekend?? From the moment we got off work until Sunday night we were going and going!! It was a total girls weekend because Daddy went to root for The Buckeye's!! But it was lots of fun!! Today has been laid back...But Ava is at Nana's. We're going to meet up at soccer practice...

Friday we went to Genoa's first official game! We left after the 3rd quarter because Genoa was rocking!! The game was a little boring because Genoa was just downing the ball and kicking field goals.

Saturday was jammed packed! We headed to the Dumpling's play group with all of our FCC friends. It's the first time we went but we loved it!! Ava played with chopsticks and we got to learn Chinese words.

After Dumplings we headed to lunch with Ella, Roz, Katie, and Conner. We went to Chick Fil A so the kids could play and the Mama's could chill...Ahhh....

And they got super cool watches!!

They were so good at lunch that we decided to treat them to ice cream, too!! We were totally loving our friend time!

After fun with our FCC friends, we headed to the other Ella's birthday party. It was actually her friend party and she invited Ava! Haha! It was a swim party with a bunch of 8 yr olds and a bunch of screaming and a bunch of One Direction. :)

After Ella's party, we went home and power napped. I made an impromptu decision and I wasn't sure how it would fly. Well, it paid off and Ava loved it! I took her to see Wicked at the Stranahan! I was so happy because I really wanted to see it. The minute she realized the connection to The Wizard of Oz was adorable! There were many questions, but the fact she sat for 3 hours for this amazed me. Some of the questions were:

Why her green?
Are the monkey's her friends?
Do they eat dog food? Oh, no! They eat banana's.
Why her sing when she talks?

We slept in on Sunday and waited for Daddy to get home. Once he arrived and unpacked we headed to African Wildlife Safari in Port Clinton. You can drive through and feed the animals. She was super stoked that she got to ride up front, too!! We fed llamas, a steer, buffalo, and deer. The steer was a little much for me. He was on my side and I slobber down the side of the car. Not to mention he was downing carrots like they were candy. I couldn't pull them out quick enough!

Talking selfie's on Daddy's phone.

After feeding the animals, we were pretty hungry ourselves. So we headed to Nagoya for dinner. Ava's first hibachi grill experience. She was a good participant! Trying to catch food in her mouth and everything!! Our chef was so nice to her and she even took a picture with him!!

We had a jam packed, great weekend!! Hope yours was great too!
