Football (Shocker!), Birthday, and a Picnic!!

Friday night was filled with an extremely windy, maybe a little cold, football night!! Genoa took home another 84-13 win! Woohoo! Go Comets! And just one little stat, because it's THAT cool..our kicker? Yep, 53 yd field goal. Go, Cody!!

Ava had a bright and early soccer game on Saturday morning. Not only, was it early, we had to be there an hour earlier for pictures. It was a brisk morning and while Ava froze her way for picture, I was plopped under a blanket. No joke. We were able to change fields so we moved to the sun which made a world of difference!!! While Ava is actually a pretty decent soccer player, her position will never be goalie. Noted.

After going home and getting the house in order (we were so busy last week, what a mess!), and multiple loads of laundry, we headed over to Amy and Chad's for a bonfire/birthday cookout. Amy and Sara's birthday is actually today!! Happy Birthday to my BFF's! Ava loved playing with Ella and Evan and making s'mores.

Ava actually played some music and sang for baby Sammy. Such a sweetheart! He loved it!!
Today was low key but I knew we had to get out of the house. It was pretty decent, so we headed to Pearson Park and had a picnic. Nana and JoJo joined us. Even though the playground was closed, we still had a good time!!

Ava did some damage on the chicken. She loves chicken! And chicken on a bone grosses the bejesus out of me. Ugh...

Hope you had a great weekend!!!
