Cookies for Miss Ashley!
Miss Ashley, one of Ava's teachers, is pregnant and due in October. They had a baby shower for her on Tuesday at school. We were asked to make Grandma's famous cookies. I did the baking, but Ava Kate helped with the decorations. I had to jump in and help or we would still be decorating them. She was strategically placing each sprinkle. Ha!
Ava was so excited for the shower. I think she liked the fact that she had an adult activity that I wasn't included in. All morning I heard "Well, I have that shower today", "Don't pick me up until after the shower", "I should wear a dress to the shower". So funny!
