1. Ava has been into middle names lately. I'm not one to share, but for this, it's worth it! She is calling us my our first and last names. John Paul. Named after the Pope. Sara Louise. Named after my Aunt Louise. We are close to my aunt Louise. My grandma especially so it's always "Are you going to Aunt Louise's?" "Oh, is Aunt Louise coming?" Therefore John is John Paul and I'm Sara Aunt Louise. Haha!!!
2. Yes, she sleeps in our bed. Yes, we co-sleep. Yes, we know we shouldn't. But with her nightmares, our pediatrician actually suggested it. GASP! It's not from lack of trying. She does sleep in her bed on Easter or Christmas because she thinks no one will come. Shaking my head. Anyhow, we went to Toys R Us to get her booster seat. I love kid bedding so I always have to look. And wouldn't you know there was a whole Doc McStuffin's set. I'm talking sheets, comforter, lamp, trash can, rugs, pillows, everything. Ava was drooling. Just staring. And here was the conversation.
Me: Ava, Mommy will buy you all of this right now. Everything. We will redo your room tonight in Doc McStuffins. All of this. If you sleep in your bed.
Ava: How old are you?
Me: 37
Ava: Well, when I'm 37 I'll sleep in my own bed.
I hope she doesn't wait until then!!!!
