I'm so far behind in blogging...
The Saturday night before their departure, Lake Middle School hosted a Snowball Dance for the kids. There was quite a bit of hesitation with the girls and then I got to the root of the problem. They don't wear fancy dresses in China. And they weren't sure if they were allowed. After they talked to their parents and received "permission", everything changed and it was Operation Dress Shopping!
Lisa Feather arranged for their hair and makeup to be done and these girls were so excited! And look how stunning they were.
They went with a group of friends!
They had a wonderful time and chattered a mile a minute when I picked them up!
What a great last night in America for them!
