In a lifetime about six years ago, Lunar New Year wasn't something I gave much thought to. I had heard about it, saw things, but that was about it. Fast forward six years. This holiday is almost as big as Christmas in our world. The fact that we can celebrate something from our daughters culture makes me absolutely ecstatic! Plus it's a time we get together with our adoption FRamily. But let's be honest, they are truly FAMILY.
This year we changed the celebration up a little and what an awesome time! We rented a hall, had an amazing potluck (no one left hungry!), crafts for the kids, a Chinese Lion, and Mama Heather's mad photography skills.
We all left with a little sigh because it was perfection.
