Soccer and Chinese Faces

A funny little story from the other day. Let me preface this with Ava knows she's from China. But she has never said anything about looking differently or anything.

We were eating lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. A Chinese family walked in. Here is the conversation:
Ava: (whispers) Mom, that's a Chinese family
Me: It is. How do you know?
Ava: Mom, they have Chinese faces

Love that kid!!
