Randomness

We had a completely low key weekend. It was great. Lots of sleep and lots of snuggles with my favorite girl. Friday night we ran some errands along with dropping my car off for service. Therefore, Mama and Ava had no transportation on Saturday which added to the low key. Saturday night was Mama/Daddy date night with Emmett's Mommy and Daddy. We went to The Beirut for dinner (YUMM-O!) and then back to our house for drinks and hot tub!! Fun times! Ava stayed at Nana's which allowed Mama 9 1/2 hours of uninterrupted sleep! AHHH....

Here is Ava's new accessory. Evelyn had a pair in Outer Banks and Ava was obsessed with them. She got them Friday night and has worn them all weekend. First thing in the morning until late as night. LOL!

And a friend of a friend made her this hat. It's Milli from Team Umizoomi. LOL!!

She has had some dry patches on her arm that we thought were from the sun. We tried all kinds of things and nothing cleared it up. :( So, off to Dr. Tracy we go...Diagnosis: FUNGAL INFECTION! What??? FUNGAL?? Apparently its very common in dark skinned children and its from summer, swim, sand, sweat, etc...



They gave us an antibiotic lotion to put on. It's kind of like a Calamine lotion. She HATES it!!

We have to put it on every night for 3 months! They said it won't clear up entirely until after summer is over. BOO! Poor girl!
