Wood County Fair

Friday night, Ava stayed at Nana's house. I packed her bags and told her to pick out a stuffed animal to take. Here is her selection...Haha!!!



















On Sunday, we went to the Wood County Fair.

After all the rides, it made a girl hungry! So, we settled down for some good fair food!!

The storm was about 20 minutes out, so we had to hurry and get to the animals. We only made it to the cows and pigs, but the owner of the cow let Ava pet it!! And she LOVED it!! But I had to carry her in the pen and it was disgusting!! :)

Electronics

John and I have decided that we needed to make some changes around our house. So we decided that from the time dinner starts until Ava's bedtime, we are eliminating electronics around our house.

No TV

No Computer

No Facebook

No Blog

And most importantly, no phones.

No Facebook.

No Texting.

No Scrabble.

No Twitter.

We will answer if someone calls, but will return it if it's not important. We've decided these electronics were consuming us and taking too much time away from the most important thing in our lives....

Bath Time

First of all, sorry about all the spaces in the last post. Not sure what happened...it didn't look like that on my end.

The other night we stopped over to my mom's house. Gabby had rolled in something outside and was kind of stinky. So, my mom decided to give her a bath in the sink.

She wasn't a huge fan...look at those poor puppy eyes...:(

Of course, someone was super jealous that Gabby was receiving this attention from Nana. And basically stripped down and demanded a tubby in the sink, too!

She loved it! She was a little big, but it was so funny!!

Meet Gabby!!

You read a couple of weeks ago that my mom had to put her dog, Gracie to sleep. It's been a very emotional couple of weeks. However, my mom decided that the heartache was too much and she needed to fill that void. So...with that being said....

Meet Gabby!!

She is an 8 week old miniature Schnauzer. Isn't she sooooo cute?? And guess who else loves her? And likes to play in her cage? I swear we didn't put her in there!!
