We had our first official Spring soccer tournament.
Ava is playing with a new club team this year. It's so nice because she is actually one of the youngest on the team so it's giving her huge experience and we know we have a home for the next couple of years.
As luck would have it, there are quite a few Genoa girls on the team, including our Tatem. Her parents weren't able to make it to the tournament so she joined us and became a Houghtaling for the weekend. She said it's the best she has eaten in a long time! Haha!!
The tournament was in Southern Ohio. While we had gorgeous weather, they must have had excessive rain in the days leading up.
The fields were literal mud and puddles. The girls were trashed. Luckily our hotel offered to do laundry for us and washed all of the uniforms.
So much mud. Ha!
