Our second big excursion was in Juneau. We hopped a little tour bus and headed to the boat dock.
On our way to Colt Island, we enjoyed some amazing views.
We arrived at Colt Island and Orca Point Lodge.
It's so small and quaint.
We were fed a very yummy lunch of Alaskan game.
I enjoyed the Coconut Fettucine and tomato soup.
While my family loved the salmon bake and bison meatloaf.
The dessert. Oh, the dessert.
Beignets with Alaskan berry mousse.
So yum!
Before we boarded back on the boat for Part 2, we were able to explore for awhile.
Ava loved combing the rocks.
Then we headed out to hunt whales...
We saw some seals hanging out
It took some time, but...
we saw the spouts and got a little closer and there they were!
It was so hard to get a good photo, but it was so amazing!
Back to town where we were able to squeeze a little shopping before we had to be back on board.
