Are you ready for our Alaska journey?
On June 1st, we boarded a flight and headed to Seattle.
.The next day we were boarding Ovation of The Seas to embark on an Alaskan cruise.
A friend of John's from work and his family were heading that way and invited us to go.
We arrived in Seattle a day early and took in a few sights and joined the Coutcher's for dinner.
Their daughters are Abby and Addy. Haha!
We peeped the Pike Place Market, which was closed and the gum wall. More on that later.
Then off to dinner at the Crab Pot.
A little walking and exploring before back to our hotel for the night.
The next day was going to be a big day!
We had a 10am check in time so we were up early for breakfast and heading to the ship.
The check in process was smooth and easy.
The lady checking us in was so excited to share the same birthday as Addy!
We booked two balcony rooms!
It was perfect! Once we got to our room, this was our view for a view hours until we sailed away.
Then up to the main deck for treats for everyone!
I ordered a birthday cake for John to be delivered to our room.
These girls wasted no time hanging. It was so nice to have friends for the week!
Finished the night with a drink for the adults. Because the girls were off living their best lives.
