We are on Day 7 post up on Addy's surgery. It's been a really rough few days for our sweet girl.
She was scheduled for surgery at 9am on Monday morning. We had to be there at 8:10. They were prompt, quick, friendly, and took such good care of our girl. We had told Addy she could bring a stuffed animal with her. She chose her birthday lamb that we had made at Build A Bear for her before she was home. The sweetest part? Ava's voice is recorded and it says "I love you, Addy Grace". She pushed it about 500 times that morning. It was so sweet that Ava's voice is what brought her comfort.
We were in and out. We were pulling in our driveway at noon. And she was awesome! She didn't nap at all and was in really good spirits.
She had really good days until the last couple of days. She is experiencing major ear pain, which we expected. We are keeping her on a med schedule and I've been using essential oils to try and ease the comfort.
