Bowling Fun!!

Sunday night I had a party to attend (by myself, Yea!) and John decided to take all the girls bowling! Eliza and Vivian had never been before so they were super excited!! They all had a wonderful time!

When I got home that night, they all acted out for me their bowling skills. Ha!

Lunch and Shopping!

We decided to give the big girls a little taste of home and took them to the Hot Pot restaurant. Their teacher from China and the Feather family along with Anna joined us! The girls LOVED it! And I couldn't believe how much food they ordered!

We all joined in on the experience, but didn't experiment too much! We basically stuck with noodles. Ha!

After lunch we headed to the mall. We ran into numerous other families from the program!

Ava used her own money and bought herself a nice little poop pillow.

We finished off the day with a stop at Lai Lai, an Asian market in the area. Both the girls made purchases and opened their treats before we were out of the parking lot!

Art Museum Fun!!

After our first full week of our new (for 3 weeks) routine, we were all excited to see Friday arrive! I left work a couple of hours early and picked up all the girls, called the Feathers, and Katie/Roz and we all met at the Art Museum!

We enjoyed the family center, the artwork, and especially the Sneaker exhibit! Love this one of Addycakes feet!

Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Imagination Station!

YAE hosted a fun day at Imagination Station! I took the day off work and the four girls and I had a blast!

Everyone had a great time! And we were super tired so we all headed home and took naps. Ha!

Fun in the USA!!

We are having a wonderful time with Vivian and Eliza! Ava and Addy adore them. And I'd like to think it's on both sides!

They started school at Lake Middle School. They have had a wonderful week and really enjoy it!

They found just the little bit of snow in the yard and had a snowball fight!

They love hot tea and we bought some decaf tea for Ava.

We've all been stepping up in the chopstick game!

It took a little coaxing but we got them in the hot tub and the LOVED it!!!

Vivian gave Ava this little bell. So sweet.

Meet Vivian and Eliza!

As mentioned previously, John and I decided to become a host family for YAE (Youth Ambassador Exchange) and we are hosting 2 girls from China!!
They arrived Saturday night!
A nervous family of four heading out!

These two little girls were so excited to have big sisters for 3 weeks!

And then they arrived! Vivian is the one with short hair and glasses and Eliza has the longer hair.

They arrived pretty late so we didn't get to hang out too much that night but we enjoyed the gifts they brought us!

We are really having a great time! More on that!!
