Colorado Family

When I was little and into my young adult years, we always went to Colorado Springs for vacation. My Grandma's sister, Carol, lives there along with her children. We formed a bond with this special family that is still strong. This past week we were blessed to have Aunt Carol, her son, Brad and his wife Patty visit us. Tuesday night we hosted a family dinner so everyone could come and visit. In addition, my cousin Amanda came over with her son, Parker. And was Ava in love with this little boy!

I wanted a picture of my Grandma, Aunt Carol, and Aunt Louise. Well, this is the best I got. It was like pulling teeth to get these girls to smile. It's almost easier to take a picture of little 5 year olds (they can be bribed)

I love, love, love my Aunt Carol. She is seriously so incredibly sweet. She calls everyone "baby", rubs your arm and your back, and just is so loving. God, I love this woman! My heart is so happy when she is here. I was so excited to spend time with her!

I tried to get a picture of Brad and Patty. And they weren't having any of it. 

It was so amazing to spend time with everyone! Thanks to all who came to visit!
