Happy Birthday, Madeleine!

We were invited to our friend, Madeleine's birthday party! Her mommy way out did herself. The theme was A Very Hungry Caterpillar and we had a great time!

The girls had fun painting, dancing, and making caterpillar crafts.

Long Time, No See Gavin!

Last Friday we were invited over to play at Gavin's house. We needed this visit! It has been so long and we needed to catch up for sure. The kids had a blast and the mama's caught up! 

Addy was so into baby Avery. Him, not so much. 

Addy's First Official Haircut

We've done a little clippin' here and there but this past week, we had Addy's first official haircut. We took about 2 inches of the back so it will grow evenly. And absolutely nothing off the front. She doesn't really have much in the front. Still those little wispy baby hairs. She did excellent for Janie and was super proud!

Art Museum Part 1 of 1,456

Winter is here. I know it's technically still fall, but when it's 35 degrees, that winter in my books. One of the bright spots in our winter months is we tend to visit the art museum more. So, be prepared to see quite a bit more art museum posts the next few months. Ha! 

Ava didn't have school on Tuesday due to parent/teacher conferences (more on that later). In casual conversation, we found out that our 2 BFF's didn't have school either! Three different schools and it lined up this way? Someone knew we needed this. The girls had a blast. The mama's and John had a great time catching up. And AG? Loved playing with the modeling clay. 

We had a few minutes to spare so we walked around a couple of the galleries before we left. I was pleasantly surprised when Ava shared with me after Sunday school that she shared with her teachers about the Jesus paintings she saw. This girl is getting cultured. 

Happy 2nd Birthday, Leilani!

Little Miss Leilani turned 2. Time truly flies. I see it more and more. We took a rode trip to Medina to celebrate with the munchkin!

It was so great to see family and we had a great time!

And while Lei doesn't look super excited about this book, I was! Doc McStuffins has an episode and the character's name is Leilani. Can you even imagine how excited I was when I found the book?!?!?!? I literally bought it like 4 months ago!!

Cleveland Aquarium

Last Sunday was a long day for us. Daddy was heading to the Browns game and we were invited to a birthday party in Medina. We did some thinking on how we could take only one car to Cleveland. The girls and I had some extra time to kill, so we headed to the Aquarium. It was very cool!

This was the highlight though. A stingray petting pool. Ava and I managed to pet them but AG's arm was too short. She basically would have to jump in the water. Ha!

And the second coolest part of the day? The scuba divers in the shark tank. They showed the girls shark teeth, waved, and blew them kisses!

We finished off the trip with a walk through the sea tube. 

We will definitely go back! 

Happy November!

November 1st kicked off pretty well!! We met Ella, Roz, and their families for breakfast. And the bonus? We got to meet Mimi and Dg (Rozzie's grandparents)! Ella's daddy was playing in the band at a sweet little place downtown. We enjoyed yummy food and awesome music!

Oh, and Ava wasn't ready to put her Halloween costume to rest yet. 

After breakfast, we walked over to the downtown library. We've never been to this gem. The kids loved it!!
