Ice Cream Sundae's with Nana!

Nana was out of town all weekend and missed the girls. She decided she needed a Houghtaling girl fix, so she brought over all of the goodies for sundaes!

Elsa and Anna

About 4-5 months ago, Emmett and his parents were in Perrysburg and happened to run across Elsa and Anna. The minute Ava found out about that until this past Sunday morning, she has asked when she will get to see them since Emmett already did. Because apparently, if Emmett does it, Ava has to do it.

So, we got wind of a special appearance of the Snow Princess and her sister. We dressed the girls in their little Frozen shirts and headed out. We didn't tell Ava until right before we leaving. Again, I received major Mom points.

It could have been a complete chaotic mess but this place and organization skills that impressed me! We were in and out within an hour. Starbucks down the street even made little strawberry drinks for the girls. Which Addy loved!!

The girls got to meet the sisters, get their picture taken, and an autograph!

Happy Birthday, Jada!!

On Saturday we were invited to two different birthday parties at the same time! How does that happen?!? Unfortunately, we had to miss Thomas' party but want to wish him a very Happy 4th Birthday! We love you!!

Instead, we went down the road to our friends to celebrate Jada's 5th birthday! It was such a nice party and the girls had tons of friends to play with! I don't have too many pictures because I actually took the Dr's advice and kept a low profile. I let the girls do their thing and I stayed seated and visited with the other Mama's.

There were actually quite a few pictures that Addy took and they were all of the same person. So, I'm going to spare Casey and not post them! Haha!

Fun Week with Daddy!

It occurred to Daddy this week that his fun Daddy/Daughter days with Ava are coming to an end. She starts Kindergarten and won't have the flexibility to stay home any longer. So, he kept the girls home a couple of days to spend time with them! There was lots of fun at the zoo, in the hot tub, snuggling, and watching movies!! 

Addy's Gets A Trim!

Addy has a really weird hairline and I'm not sure how it's going to grow in. Ha! But until it does, her little wisps in front were hanging in her eyes. So off to Janie we went for the first official trim.

And it turned out adorable!

Fun Mail!

Doesn't everyone love fun mail? You know the handwritten notes that come in card form? The ones that don't require a monthly payment?? Ha! Well, little Miss Ava Kate received a couple pieces of fun mail this week. First up, Santa sent her a letter! She was pretty excited! And he even sent sand and a shell since he is currently vacationing in Florida.

The next day she received another very important letter from a very important person. Mrs. Mullen, her kindergarten teacher. My girl starts on Wednesday. Isn't that crazy?

She had a pretty exciting week since I surprised her with a Snackeez. She has been begging for one for weeks. Which leads me to believe my girl will be the one up at 3am ordering off infomercials. 

And not to be left, my snuggle bunny

And now off to bed. This  was my first full time week since before we traveled to China. I'm whipped. Ha!
