If You Need Us....

...we are most likely at a sporting event.
Fall Sports have kicked in and it's crazy!
Addy started Cheer!

And soccer, where they won their first game!

Ava Kate started soccer and scrimmaged the boys.
The girls were successful with a 7-3 win.

Of course, we celebrated with ice cream!

Ava also started volleyball and they won all three games!!

We are also managing through tumbling and piano.
Our girls are busy but we love this life!!
Can't wait for the next couple of months!!

New Pool Accessory!

The girls have been asking and we've been looking.
We finally found one on the marketplace.
We have a new slide for the pool!
It probably won't be installed until next year but they are soon excited!

Playground!

John planned a fishing charter on Saturday.
The waves were too high so it was canceled so everyone decided to hang at our house.
So we headed to Katie's for the day.
The girls went to the playground and Ava sent us these super cute photos!

We had lunch and then finished off the day with yummy ice cream!

Friday Night Lights

Football is back!
We let both girls take a friend to the game.
We never saw Ava.
Addy and Maisie watched YouTube.
John and I enjoyed the game even though Genoa lost.
We were stunned. Genoa doesn't lose.
But tomorrow still came and we still love our Comets.

Kid Rock

The 3rd Annual Bash at the Bay hosted Kid Rock.
We were very excited for this concert!
We headed over to The Bay around noon.
We spent the day eating and drinking before we headed to the concert.

We headed out to the airport for the concert and turned our tickets in for wristbands. We had actually purchased VIP tickets but were accidentally given wristbands for the pit. Therefore we were super close, about 10 people from the stage. It was amazing!!

I have a new found celebrity crush and can say it's the best concert I have ever been to!

Rest In Peace, Raphael

Wednesday night was a super busy night. I had a meeting at church, Ava had soccer.
I was in the middle of cooking dinner so we could all eat before our activities.
Then Addy says "Why the pig not move?"
Yes, he had passed away sometime during the day.
He was alive that morning.
It's sad but he lived a very long life.
Most pigs live to be 4-6 years. Raphael was 9.
We found a nice little spot to bury him in the back and placed a little marker.
And to answer your next question...we will not be getting another.
We plan to be pet free for awhile.
