Basketball Camp

The girls participated in a small basketball camp this past week.
It was after school for 3 days.
They loved it and Ava was thrilled for the pink shirt!

Bed Time with Aunt Tammy

Aunt Tammy was missing the girls so she called and asked what they would like for a bedtime snack.
She showed up the next night with the requested treat, salted caramel pretzels, after bath time.
We enjoyed a nice visit and she read the girls a book before bed.
It was a super nice way to end the evening!

Spring Soccer 2019

Spring soccer has officially ended.
It's so sad for me. I'm that crazy soccer mom who could watch my kids play soccer everyday.
Both girls had AMAZING seasons.
Ava's team played their first season in U12 and only lost 3 games.
These girls have played together since they were 6-7 years old and are the true meaning of a team.
Gosh, I love them all so much.

I helped coach Addy's team this season. They were the funniest group of girls.
I had tears at every game because they were so cute.
My favorite interaction was with a little girl name Charley.
Me: Charley, what position did Coach Chris tell you to play?
Charley: Off-defense
Me: Are you sure? I have never heard of that.
Charley: Neither have I, Coach Sara, neither have I.
Ha!!!
Addy Grace rocked the season and has really started to get the concept and scored 2 goals this season!
Her first ever!!!
There was beautiful weather and horrible weather.
Lots of friends, family and even teachers came to watch them play!
We played against friends and family!
It was another amazing time.
Now the countdown to Fall.

Mrs. Fisher. She is the ELA teacher at school!

Art Show

Genoa Elementary hosted their annual art show.
Both of the girls had a few pieces in the show.
Ava also had a house that she did as a group project!
Great job, girls!

This is Ava's friend, Tatum.

May 19th -- Our Best Friends Birthday!

Heather and Ella share a birthday!!
Now the little girls and big enough that we can turn them loose in Dave and Buster's while we indulge in a birthday drink!
Can you guess which one is mine?

The girls were so excited to go back to Heather and Ella's for a sleepover.
I received a few Facetime's with close ups of the kittens.

Happy Birthday to some of our favorite people!!
We love you so much!

The Little Mermaid

Our friend, Sarah, from church was in a local community theatre's production of The Little Mermaid.
We joined some other of our friends and took the little girls out for dinner and then off to see the play!

Ava and Anslee were BFF's. I looked down during the play and Anslee had her arms around Ava and kissed her cheek. It was incredibly sweet!

The girls did so well! I don't even know if they blinked!

Our friend, Sarah! She was adorable!

Addy was petrified of Ursula. I thought she was AMAZING!
Then I found out she is a teacher and a mom of three littles.
ROCKSTAR!

Tumbling!

Addy has really taken to cheerleading and wanted to start tumbling.
About four months ago, we enrolled her in a local gym.
She loves it and calls it backflips!
She has masters the cartwheel, round off and one handed cartwheel.
She is doing so well and LOVES Thursdays!
When I tell her it's tumbling nights, she get so excited and does cartwheels!
Ha!
