Friday Night Lights!!

Genoa Comet Football is back!! 

We went to the first home game and had a great time! 

Our Comets took home the win!

We hung with our favorite cheerleader!

This girl had a long day! She had spent the night at Nana's and had to go to work with her at 5:30am. 

By 3rd quarter, she was tapped. 

Look how pitiful her little face is. 

Rascal Flatts!

We boarded the Jet Express to Put In Bay for the 2nd Annual Bash at the Bay! 

This year Rascal Flatts was the headliner! 

The concert was fantastic and Uncle Nate joined us this year!

It was so weird to see Holly in this setting. She's not our little neighbor anymore. 

She's of drinking age.

We even ran into my Aunt Darlene and Uncle Stan!

First Day of School! {Addy: 1st, Ava 4th}

We are FINALLY back to school! 

We started very late this year and summer break was about 2 weeks too long. 

We are just a routine family and do so much better with structure. 

Before our nightly routine and baths, we bookended our summer with Mel O Creme! 

We were up early for pictures!

I took them to school and was able to snag a picture with our friends! 

They had a great first day!! 

Open House

The Monday before school started was Open House for the girls!

Addy has Mrs. Avers who was also Ava's 1st grade teacher! We were thrilled with this news!

Addy's best friend, Maisie, is also in her class. I think this a recipe for a great year! 

Ava is entering 4th grade and has Miss Fravel. 

She was so nervous but it's been a fantastic start!

BG Soccer Game

We loaded up the Yukon with a bunch of cuties from Ava's soccer team and headed south to Bowling Green! We went to the Mens Soccer game and it was so much fun! 

It was a great game and the girls even went on the field after the game to get pictures and autographs!

Back to School Haircuts

We did our annual visit to Laura to get our back to school haircuts. 

They had a healthy cut and received some fancy braids afterwards!

Midwest Expansion Open House and EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!!

Uncle Nate's facility has grown so much they had to move the offices offsite! 

They recently hosted an Open House so we could go check out the new digs!

But the best part of the day was Uncle Nate won EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!

What an amazing accomplishment! He has come so far. 

10 years ago he only had the clothes on his back and was living on the streets. 

And now?!?!?!

I couldn't be prouder!
