Halloween 2016!

Halloween is exhausting, yo. :)
We were crazy busy on Halloween Day! I took a day of vacation to spend time with both girls at their respective festivities.

Addy had a special treat day at school. She was a tad excited, could you tell?

We took the girls to a couple of Trunk or Treats before the actual day. Addy went back and forth between Elsa and Skye from Paw Patrol.

Halloween Day was gorgeous weather wise. It was amazing NW Ohio weather. We started the day at Addy's school. This is my official last year Trick or Treating with the daycare. It's so crazy!

Addy and her teachers!

After a two hour trek around the hospital and a TON of candy, we headed to Ava Kate's class. We took some class pictures before the parade started!

The elementary school has an annual parade with all of the kids in the school. Our little Darth Vader strutted her stuff.

Ava got an early dismissal from school so we headed home to rest before the big night. We headed to my Grandmas's for Trick or Treat with the cousins.

They had a wonderful time. Addy showed us every single piece of candy she received. She was so excited! My cousin Lisa and I were the official extra costume pieces carriers. That's a real thing!
Another successful Halloween in the books!

Halloween Panda's!

We hosted the October Halloween Panda's at our house. All of the kids came in costume and it was so  cute!

We had lunch, did crafts and bobbed for apples!!

Love our group!

Football Cheerleader!

Our little cheerleader cheered at the football game last Friday. She was so excited to show off her skills! I love how much she loves cheerleading. It's something that is her's and she doesn't have to share with Ava. She actually gets mad when Ava comes to her practice. "No Ama". :)

Miss Sassypants did wonderful!

The Comet Ignite squad!

Nana came out to cheer her on! So did Aunt Tammy, Aunt Emily, Grandpa, Uncle Nate, and Daddy!

Meanwhile Ava hung out with her squad and probably didn't realize Addy was cheering. :)

Happy 6th Gotcha Day, Ava Kate!!

Six years ago on October 25th, sweet baby Ava was placed into my arms. Not a day goes by that I take her for granted. I worship this child.
Gotcha Day fell on the busiest day of the week for our family but we still had to celebrate!
I decided it was time for Ava's first delivery. So I ordered a candy bouquet to be sent to school.
She was excited! I'm so thankful for the wonderful staff at the school for sending me pictures!!

After guitar lessons for Ava and cheer for Addy, we headed out to Ava's dinner choice. Cocina de Carlos. It was super yummy and we were excited for Aunt Emily, Nana, and Jojo to join us!

Happy Family Day, Baby. You made me the happiest and most grateful mommy in the world!

Family Pictures!

A few weeks ago, we met up with Mama Heather and she worked her magic. She definitely had her work cut out because Addy was super crabby. But she did it. Here are some of our fav's! I'm saving one back for the Christmas card. ;)

Cedar Point!!

We didn't make it to Cedar Point over the summer so we put it off to Halloweekends.  I was hesitant because I didn't know how scary it would be for the girls. I did some research and Sunday is the day to go! Mother Nature cooperated and we pretty much had perfect weather.
Daddy took Ava on the Iron Dragon and Millineum Force. She was ok with Snoopy Land after that.
We had french fries, we played in suds, and rode the Ferris Wheel. I may have freaked out. I'm scared to death of that ride! Ha!
We saw some slightly scary monsters and some not so scary monsters and enjoyed the parade.
We will definitely be doing Halloweekends in the future. We all loved it!
