Vacation Weekend!!

We had a big vacation on the horizon! 

So we filled our weekend before with friends and family. 

Mani and Pedi's with Katie!

A few extra minutes allowed us time to grab a margarita!

Followed by dinner with these girlies. 

Uncle Nate came over and treated us to Christmas in July at Mel O Creme. 

My favorite time!! Peppermint everything!!! 

 

VBS 2021

We had another successful year of VBS! 

I ran registration and Mom and Tracy did the preschool. 

Ava was a helper and Addy attended. 

She loved it!!!

We ended the week with a carnival!! 

What a fun night!

 

Happy 4th of July from Put In Bay!

We celebrated America's birthday enjoying everything Lake Erie has to offer. 

We rented a condo on Put In Bay with three other families. 

We stay on Friday - Monday. 

Waiting for the ferry! 

As soon as we got there, the kiddo's hit the pool. 

Addy and Maisie had matching swimsuits!

The Daddy's took over swim duties and the Mama's headed into town for a bit!

We both had Shirley Temples, one had vodka. :)

We spent lots of time visiting shops, driving golf carts, frequenting the candy store and just having a blast!!

My mom and Tracy came over on the 4th to lay her friend Jackie at her final resting place. 

Jackie passed away and wanted her ashes sprinkled at Put In Bay. 

We found a perfect location!

Then we all snuggled up and enjoyed the fireworks! 

It was a great weekend!

 

Ginger's Going Away

My work best friend of 20 years is moving to Florida. 

It's the end of an era. 

She helped me plan my wedding, through years of infertility and Nate's addiction. 

She's been by my side for the good and bad. 

We couldn't let her go without a little sendoff.

Genoa Homecoming

The homecoming this year looked a little different. 

It was on a completely different weekend than usual and a huge rain storm postponed the parade to the following day. 

Ava Kate enjoyed the weekend with her friends and Addy Grace stuck close to her mama. 

Addy has no desire to ride the rides (thank goodness!) and Ava loves them. 

So we enjoyed the parade, lots of candy, and air conditioning while waiting for Ava. 

Only in small towns...

John and I finished the evening in Cleveland with friends. 

It was wonderful to spend time with Greg!

 

Summer Lovin'

The Do's returned from their super long vacation (we missed them!!!) and we didn't wait to long to get the sister friends together. 

Swimming, hot tubbing, watermelon...

And creating new tye dye shirts!!

 Now it's time for The Ho's to go on their super long vacations.

Port Clinton with Uncle Carl

Uncle Carl came to visit and decided to spend a few nights in Port Clinton. We went out to visit him and have dinner.
