We've been cleaning and purging getting ready for our garage sale. 

I found this picture of Uncle Carl from the service. 

When I asked Addy who is was...she said "Donald Trump?" 

I think the American Flag through her off. 

Ha!

Happy Birthday, John!

John celebrated his birthday on June 3rd. 

We kept it low key and went to dinner, his choice. 

He chose Blue Pacific which him and the girls enjoyed tremendously! 

Ava put crawfish in hers. Her eating habits are baffling. 

Ha! 

We finished the night with Mel O Creme.

They Say Third Time is a Charm

Addy has had her ears pierced twice before. 

For some reason, she keeps getting an infection in her one ear so we take the earring out. She won't let us near her after the infection clears so it always closes. Well, she has been obsessing to have her ears pierced again like Roz. 

I told her if she wanted to do it again, she had to pay for it on her own. 

Well, we decided to upgrade the actual earrings so we split it in half to make sure she had a better chance. The good thing is she only needed one ear done! 

She's pretty happy!!

Sandy's Comets!

Every year at the Homecoming parade, we always reminisce about the time I was in baton. 

I was in a group called Sandy's Comets and I marched in parades! 

While going through pictures this weekend, I found this little gem. 

Yep, that's me on the left!

Genoa Homecoming!

This weekend was the Genoa Homecoming! 

The prep started early because this car was riding in the parade!

Uncle Nate asked John to ride in parade and represent Recovery Institute of Ohio. 

Aunt Emily rode with John in the car and Nate, Pat and some of their other employees walked and handed out candy! 

While they were partaking in the parade, I got to sit with these gorgeous girls and their mamas!

This was my favorite! 

Their was a float for a local Haunted House and Roz was scared so she hid behind Ava! 

ha!

After the parade, we headed up town for food, games and rides!!

We ended the night pretty tired but still had smiles and crazy giggles!

Last Day of School!

And....that's a wrap! 

Addy has successfully complete 1st Grade! 

Ava has successfully completed 4th Grade! 

They enjoyed snow cones on the last day!

Then ran off the bus! 

Bring on summer! We are ready!

Fourth Grade Awards

Ava Kate did wonderful at the Fourth Grade Awards ceremony. 

While I thought she would sweep the athletic category, it was actually Art where she raked them in. 

Her and two of her friends created a house for Art Week and they won Third Place in the entire school. 

She also has a piece of artwork that has been chosen to be displayed this summer at the Ottawa County Fair. Stay tuned! 

She also received an award for being on the Honor Roll all year! 

We are so proud!
