Halloween was super low key this year.
We have been absolutely swamped with sports schedules that we didn't even get to carve pumpkins. About two days before Halloween, I asked them if they were ok with everything because I felt like a mom failure. The girls were fine and didn't care as long as there was candy at the end of the day.
I was in charge of healthy snack. I thought they were cute.
This year Addy decided she wanted to be a Rayz server.
Rayz is a small town place from our area. Addy loves, loves everything about Rayz. The people, the food, everything.
So I reached out to them and was able to put together the cutest costume!
I made her the favorite appetizer, hot pepper cheese balls that she could carry.
Rayz shirt, hat and an apron!
She was perfect!
John and I were excited to go to the Halloween parade at school. Until it hit us, it was our last one.
Next year, we will have no one left in elementary.
Next was picking up Ava from school. I through on ca ears to embarrass her and it worked!!
We were heading to my brother's house, where we have spent every Halloween since I was a kid.
But first, Addy posed for a photo at her favorite place.
The official cousin photo. It has certainly dwindled this year!
Ava went out with Sydney to Trick or Treat.
No costumes. Just on a mission.
Imagine Addy's surprise when she found the man himself, RAY!!!
So fun!
Mission accomplished.
