Soccer Under the Lights!

Ava Kate's soccer team, for the first time ever, had a game scheduled with Ottawa Hills.
At night, under the lights. Not only was this super cool, but this is also our BFF's territory!!
We had quite the cheering section.

Our sweet Roz was thrilled that she didn't have to choose side and the game ended in a tie.

SEVENTEEN!!!!

On October 9th, John and I celebrated 17 years of wedded bliss!

John worked during the day. I sent him the photo below and told him that as a gift I pumped my own gas. Haha!!

We went to the local brewery, sat at the bar, drank beer, and watched football.
It was so fun!

The Addams Family, Part 2

We found ourselves free one evening while Daddy was working nights.
It also happened to be opening night of The Addams Family, Part 2.
We haven't been in a movie theatre since before COVID.
So...we headed up to the super nice theatres in Monroe.
All of the seats are heated, leather recliners.
It was so fun!!

Happy Fall Y'all! {Football, Movies, and Mums!}

Comet Football landed us at Flyer Stadium.
It's ok because some of our favorites are Flyers and we love them lots!

Saturday morning we went to the local greenhouse and grabbed some mums for the front porch.
It's always a great time with this one.

Saturday night the girls and I went up to Monroe to see Addams Family 2.
It was worth the trip for heated leather recliners.

On Sunday, we faced a tough loss at Oak Harbor soccer fields.
But, afterwards I was able to enjoy the ordination of our sweet friend, Dawn!

Happy National Coffee Day!

Sister Friends!

I stole some photos from Mama Katie's blog!!

We enjoyed our night watching Roz play Field Hockey.
Ava was giving her tips on how to be more aggressive. Ha!

Whenever we have a free minute or are going to be up in Toledo, we always reach out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
This day it did!
Mexican and Big Lots!! We missed Ella, though.

Mad support from our framily when Grandma passed away.
They came to the visitation and also brought Moon Pies to celebrate the Autumn Moon Festival!

We are so fortunate to have these girlies and mama's in our lives.

Happenings

We are still trying to figure life without Grandma.
Trying to keep life normal.

Ava Kate had a nice little summer gig this summer and saved her money and bought a futon for her room!

Ava started confirmation at church.
She isn't loving it but...we keep it positive.
Her first time as an acolyte!

Before Uncle Carl left for his trip out West, he gave Ava money for KFC.
We sent him this photo.

Ava Kate passed out with Faye. Two peas in a pod.

Ava also started as a Ref for our soccer league.
Therefore, I'm now going to games where my kids aren't playing.
Ha!
Of course the first game was pouring so I snuggled with the little one under the umbrella.

So official.

Congrats, Cory and Alli!!

Nate's friends Cory and Alli got married!!!
All the whole family was invited! It was a beautiful day!

Uncle Nate was the best man!!

This is their daughter, Gigi.
She is so great! And she loved Uncle Nate!

Obviously, I was a BIG fan of this table.
I ate 3 cupcakes! I had to try the different flavors.

Speech by the Best Man.

It was such a fun night!!

Friday Night Lights!

Friday nights are busy in these parts. With my new role with the Athletic Boosters, I work most home games but I still get to enjoy those Comets. The vibe is so perfect.

I get to wear maroon shoes.

My girl gets to live her best life with her posse.

And I get cool new swag!
