Happy Gotcha Day, Ava Kate!

October 25th marked NINE years with our Ava Kate. 

While I love her at this age, I miss Baby Ava. I miss that little voice. 

I ordered a Yard Card for her birthday so she woke up to this in our front yard!

She was so excited!!

We had a super busy weekend so we had family dinner tonight eating chicken on a bone and ice cream sandwiches.

Friday night we were invited over to celebrate Addy's BFF's birthday!

We felt very honored to be included in their family party. 

We had yummy soup and pumpkin cake!

Fall Soccer

Our soccer season has ended. More on that later. 

But here are a few shots from the season. 

We played cousins and friends. 

We froze and we were hot. 

We won and we lost.

Mrs. Houghtaling Goes To The Art Museum

Ava Kate had a field trip at the art museum and I was able to chaperone! 

I cracked up at the Mrs. Houghtaling nematic. Ha!

The buses pulled up and I saw this. These kids are so funny!

I loved this display!

The punch bowl is on display which was locally made by Libbey Glass. 

It weighs 143 lbs!!

It was a fun little trip but then I had to go back to work!

We squeezed in an afternoon playdate with Ella and Roz. 

I was so excited to put the snack together!

They got swimmers treatments and about 5-6 inches cut off.

We did our annual photo shoot with Heather and The Dougherty's. 

Heather found an amazing spot! You'll have to wait to see the final product. 

Afterwards we went to dinner at an amazing restaurant and Roz came back for a sleepover. 

It was an early night for me but the girls stayed up and played. 

The next day was lunch and the new Addams Family movie. 

Such a great time with my favs!

Friday Night Cheer!

Addycakes cheered at the Varsity game on Friday. 

She was so excited and had been asking for weeks when she was cheering.

Breakfast With A Loved One!

The annual Breakfast With A Loved One happened this past week. 

It's was mass chaos and Ava's last one ever. 

Because next year she will be a big middle schooler. 

Community Worship!

One year ago these girls had a vision. 

We shared ideas and thoughts. 

We took them to our pastors and they helped our dreams come to fruition. 

We celebrated our one year anniversary of Community Worship aka the evening service at church. 

We developed such wonderful friendships!

Aunt Emily Turns 41!!

In this family, Aunt Emily's birthday is a huge deal! 

Well, for Aunt Emily. 

We celebrated with homemade spaghetti and meatballs and Aunt Tammy's chocolate cake. 

She scored some major gifts from Uncle Nate, Nana and Jojo. 

It was a sweet night.
